Scott is a Licensed Funeral Director / Embalmer in Florida & Georgia He is a native of Decatur County, GA. knowing at the age of 13 he wanted to become a Funeral Director. Scott has been working in the funeral industry for more than 25 years. Scott attended Bainbridge High School and later received his degree in Mortuary Science from Gupton-Jones College in Atlanta.
Scott is married to Edna Mitchell Hall, her son Aaron Hall ( wife Kristin) and granddaughter, Sara Katherine.
Scott believes in making a difference in the community. He has and presently serves on many Community Boards; as an active member of Kiwanis serving in all leadership areas including: President, Lt. Governor from his district, Chairperson for Relay for Life, helping to bring a hospital to Gadsden County by serving on the Hospital Board, and is a proud member of the Quarterback Club of Tallahassee.
His passion for the care for grieving families has led him to become active in the Independent Funeral Directors Association of the State of Florida for the past 11 years.
Areas of service include serving as Director, Secretary and on The Executive Board. These key areas help all Florida Independent Funeral Homes by helping to oversee and create legislation to protect Faith Funeral Home's families and others.
It is his honor to serve families, and his passion for that calling continues.
