Biography

Wilmer Francis Huber Jr. (Bill) 80 of Havana, FL. passed away on August 5, 2011 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.

The graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at Woodland Cemetery in Havana, with Pastor Randy Ross officiating. Military Honors and Masonic Funeral Rites will be observed.

Mr. Huber born in Miami, FL, he has been a resident of Havana for the past eighteen years. He served in the United States Army from 1951 through 1954 attached to the 8608 Signal Corp. European Theatre. Mr. Huber was past Master of Coral Gables Masonic Lodge No. 260, the York Rite and Scottish Rite of Miami. His greatest passion was his vegetable and herb garden and as an accomplished organic gardener.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years Christa Beierling Huber of Havana, FL, Son Wilmer F. Huber III (wife Jean) of Moncks Corner, SC, granddaughter Michelle Grooms, two great grandsons Keenan Grooms and Kendall Grooms of Goose Creek, SC. Son Kristopher Karl Huber (Fiancé© Blanca Balseiro) of Miami FL, granddaughter Isabel Trueba and grandson Joel Trueba and JD (Jane Dog). Son Roy Martin Huber (wife Mary) of Havana, FL and two granddaughters Mary Maxine Elizabeth Huber (His joy to teach) and Victoria Louise Huber (His little garden helper) and his brothers, Ronald K. Huber of Orangeburg, SC. and Michael R. Huber and Betty of Otto, NC. Also many nieces and nephews and extended family
