For over eleven years, twilight has fallen upon the mind of the love of my life, my husband and best friend, Willis Carroll Swicord.
As the sun set on July 2, 2017, Willis passed away.
I extend my sincere appreciation and gratitude to Dr Andrea Randell and Dr Gerry Maitland for the care provided throughout his illness and to the team at Big Bend Hospice for the compassionate care, concern and support provided to us during the final two weeks of his life.
My heartfelt appreciation to Faith Funeral Home & Crematory and Hall Monument Company for assisting me with arrangements.
To my wonderful family, extended family, church members and friends who were there for Willis and myself during this challenging time, thank you for all your love and support, care and concern, and thoughts and prayers. The many calls, cards, postings on Facebook and memorial contributions to Concordia Baptist Church and Big Bend Hospice are beautiful testament to my love for Willis and to the importance and dignity of his life, which I will never forget.
