Willie Dukes Stover, 96 of Tallahassee, FL and Columbus, GA.. passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2012 in Broadview Assisted Living in Tallahassee, FL.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Faith Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The graveside service and internment will be held at 11:00 a.m. September 14, 2012 at Riverdale Cemetery in Columbus, GA.
Mrs Stover was born August 15, 1916 in Woodland, GA. The daughter of William T. Dukes and Johnnie Carpenter Dukes. Mrs. Stover was an executive with the American Red Cross. She traveled and lived in many countries. She was very proud of the help she was able to provide for our soldiers.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews Jerry Miller, Pam Wehler, Patti Seipe and Rob Stier; Five great nieces and nephews, and seven great-great nieces and nephews. Many cousins and relatives in Columbus, GA also survive her. Traci Miller Sirmons "great nieces" has been her loving care-giver for many years.
