William Roger Sadler

William Roger Sadler, 68 of Calvary, GA, passed away on Monday January 16, 2023 from a tragic automobile accident in Taylor County, Florida.The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Seminole Baptist Church (3330 Mission Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32303) with Pastor Gary Linton officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 AM. The Burial will be held a Piedmont Cemetery in Calvary, Georgia at 1:30 PM on Saturday, January 21, 2023.

Roger was born in Cairo, GA on August 18, 1954, to the late Otho M. Sadler and the late Marjorie Tryon Sadler. He graduated from Cairo High School Class of 1972. He was a delivery driver for Merita Bread Company for 30 years until his retirement. After retirement he started driving/delivering for US Auto Force for the past sixteen years. Roger was a faithful member and deacon at Seminole Baptist Church. Most of all he loved the Lord Jesus Christ with all his heart. He also enjoyed history, college football and working in his yard.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years Lee Hurst Sadler of Calvary, GA; his grandson Shelby Sadler (wife Chelsea) his great grandchildren Sadie and Owen; his granddaughter Brittany Coleman and his great grandchildren Trace, Atleigh and Magnolia. His brother Tommy Sadler (wife Nancy) of Mt. Pleasant, FL Three sisters Carol Watt of Quincy, FL Olivia Lieb of Thomasville, GA, and  Betty Weaver (Jerome) Calvary, GA.
