Veronica Lynne (Marsh) Haire

Veronica Lynne Haire, 63, of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away on March 28, 2023. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 3 at Faith Funeral Home in Havana, Florida.
Veronica was born June 25, 1959. She grew up in Tallahassee and was a graduate of Leon High School, class of 1977. Known by so many as “Aunt Ron,” Veronica was a motherly figure to so many of her nieces and nephews, forging strong bonds with those she loved deepest.  Shortly after returning to Tallahassee, she met her husband, Greg Haire, and the two immediately clicked. They were wed in November 2012 and celebrated 10 years of marriage last year. From Florida’s capital city to Paris and the rolling hills of East Tennessee, Veronica touched countless lives around the world.

Veronica had many passions in life, but her two strongest were Clemson Tigers football and NASCAR driver Kevin Harvick. She was an avid fan of both, vigorously cheering them and wearing her emotions on her sleeve. She also had her beloved Dachshund, Ollie, who was the loyal companion always by her side in her later years. Veronica also loved to quilt and created many irreplaceable keepsakes her loved ones will cherish forever.

She was preceded in death by her father Howard Marsh Sr., loving mother Leone Marsh, sister Frances and brother Henry, as well as granddaughters Aubrey Haire and Brooke Haire.  Veronica is survived by her husband, Greg, son Hank Lee (Tierra) and grandson Jasper, Sandy Heard (Jeff) and grandson Jace, Jamey Haire (Jesse), Dusty Haire (Christen) and grandchildren Lexie, Blake and Zac Miller, as well as Krystle Cato and grandson Gabe.  She’s survived by her best friend, Nan Bryant and siblings, Junior Marsh (Beth) and Katherine Marsh Buquet.  She’s also survived by nieces Tracy Swain (Jeff), Ashley DuRant (Tyler), Rachelle Stracener, Tammy Freeman (Tim) and Valerie Buquet and nephews Chris, Richard (Teri), Drew and Matt (Sarah).
