Venice Lee Walsh

Venice Lee Walsh, 91, of Havana, Florida passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022. A graveside funeral service will be held Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in Woodland Cemetery Havana, FL with Reverend Bill Bess officiating.  Faith Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements (850.539.4300 or www.faithfuneralhome.com)
Venice was born in Concord, Florida on Thursday, October 23, 1930 to Homer B. and Minnie E. Walsh. Venice graduated from Florida State University in 1953. He then enlisted in the United States Air Force where he retired reaching the rank of Lt. Col. He enjoyed helping his community; he did this in many ways working with his local churches, Meals on Wheels and the Vicker's and Concord cemetery fund raisers. Venice was very fond of his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by six nephews - Charles, Richard, Daniel, David, Douglas and Randy. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers - Charles and Donald Walsh, three sisters - Wilma Walsh, Geraldine McAlpin and Ethel Hough, one nephew - Ricky Walsh and one niece - Linda.
