Troy Lawrence

Troy Herbert Lawrence 83, of Concord died Thursday, November 27, 2008 in Tallahassee. Memorial service will be at 3:00pm Sunday, November 30, at Concorida Baptist Church in Concord. With a private family burial at a later date. His family will receive friends Saturday from 6 til 8:00 pm at Faith Funeral Home in Havana (850.539.4300 or www.faithfuneralhome.com)
Mr. Lawrence was a member of Concorida Baptist church. He was an automotive mechanic by trade who enjoyed his career. He was well know for his weekend farming. He loved his garden and sharing with his neighbors. He loved to fish and one point in his life designed and build his own fishing boat. He especially loved his grandchildren. He was a kind and understanding man.
He is survived by his two daughters Susan Cook (and husband Rodney) of Havana; and Dotti Stephens (and husband Sammy) of Havana; One sister Carolyn Harris (and husband Wayne) of Tifton, GA 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his son Joe Hutto.
