Biography
Ronald Anthony "Tony" Hunter 54 of Havana, has completed his long journey and passed into his reward with the Lord on July 2, 2007. Memorial Services will be held at 12 noon Saturday , July 14, 2007 at Celebration Baptist Church in Tallahassee. Faith Funeral Home in Havana is in charge of arrangements (850-539-4300). Everyone is invited back to Tony's house for a old fashion Tony Hunter celebration In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Tony Hunter Trust Fund Gulf State Community Bank, P.O. Born to the late Ronald Curtis Hunter and Hedy Marie Hunter on January 23, 1953 in Tallahassee, Florida. Tony was a Nuisance Alligator Trapper for the State of Florida starting in 1978 until he was unable to pursue his passion any longer. He was a avid hunter and fisherman whose love for these sports and the outdoors will be carried on through his family and friends.
He is proceeded in death by his late wife Sharon Ruth Hunter. He leaves behind his devoted and loving wife Anna M.. Hunter, two sons and their spouses, one daughter, one stepdaughter and one stepson. Eight grandchildren, his mother, three brothers and one sister and their spouses.
He lived life with a passion and purpose to protect the outdoors for all to enjoy. He left us with many memories and a new found respect for life. Your journey is complete but will live on in the lives you have left behind.
