Biography
Thomas (Tommy) Lee Kent, 66, passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 6, 2015. He was the son of the late Melvin Thomas and Hesta Hand Kent.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, C.J. and Don and by his beloved mother-in-law, Marilyn Rice.
He is survived by the love of his life, his best friend, Karen Rice Kent of Havana and his children: a daughter, Skye ( Chris) of Northport, AL. sons; Thomas of Havana, and Rusty of Tallahassee, FL.; His sisters, Iris and Irene, both of Tallahassee and a host of family and friends.
Tommy loved life, and lived his love of life everyday. He enjoyed working with his hands, and he never met a stranger.
The Family will host a private memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations to The local Boy Scouts of America and or Community Cares of Havana, Florida.
