Thomas "David" Chester

Thomas David Chester, 65 of Tallahassee, FL passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at his residence.

The graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Concord Cemetery in Concord, FL. Family will receive friends from 6 till 8:00PM on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at Faith Funeral Home.

David was born on September 30, 1954 in Tallahassee, FL. the son of the late T.P. Chester and Berniece Chester. David was a member of Havana, First Baptist Church, He was a successful businessman, owning and operating his business for many years. He was a family man, he loved doing for others. He was an outdoors man, who loved fishing and fast boats in the water. He was a member of Bainbridge Bass Club. He served as Web Master for Alabama Children’s Classic.

He is survived by his wife Wanda Chester of Tallahassee; his mother Berniece Chester of Havana; Sons Steve Chester of Jacksonville and Jonathan Halbert (wife Jennifer) of Opa-locka; daughter April Mills of Leesburg, GA; His sister Jo Nell Chaaban (husband Dean) of Tallahassee; Five grandchildren - Matthew and Gunnar Chester of Jacksonville; Hannah Mills of Leesburg, GA and Logan and Blakely Halbert of Opa-locka; his nieces Jena Dorminy (husband Mike) of Tallahassee and Amy Chaaban of Tampa and two great nephews and one great niece.
