Sonya Moore Strauss

Sonya Moore Strauss, 54 of Tallahassee, FL passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Tallahassee memorial Hospital.

The graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, (284 McCall Bridge Rd. Quincy, FL 32351) with Pastor Lem Harr officiating the service.

Sonya was born September 24, 1965 in Norfolk, Virginia, the daughter of the late Bobby Moore and the late Iris (Chason) Moore. She was a stay at home mom. She loved her children more than everything. She was a great cook and loved outdoors and traveling.

She is survived by her husband Dan Strauss of Tallahassee; two sons Dillon Maxwell of Tallahassee, and Gunner Maxwell of Tallahassee. One daughter Taylor Maxwell of Arlington, VA.

She is preceded in death by her parents Bobby and Iris Moore
