Shari Jo Caldwell Anderson

Shari Jo Caldwell Anderson, of Havana, passed away after a long battle with multiple myeloma. She was 61 years old. The family is heartbroken to have lost their matriarch. Shari was born on December 3, 1962 to Hazel and Les Caldwell, Sr. in Alexandria, IN. Her parents moved to Tampa, FL when she was a young child to help with her asthma. Shari met her childhood sweetheart, Keith, when they were twelve at church, and they married after graduating high school on May 8, 1982. Shari and her family moved to Havana in 1997, where she lived until her death. Shari was a mother of three and worked in banking and accounting for over 40 years. She earned her Associates in accounting while working full-time and taking care of her kids. Shari was a pillar of her church until her cancer progressed and caused her to be unable to physically attend services. Everyone who knew Shari knew of her loving and kind spirit. She was known as “Mama Shari” in her most recent work years. Shari is preceded in death by her parents, Les and Hazel and her husband, Keith. She is survived by her three children, Shelby (Dan), Rebeccah, and Garrett (Courtney); and her grandchildren, Jack, Harry, Hunter, Skylar, and Hayden, and an abundance of friends and family. We will miss her more than words can say. Contributions in memory of Shari can be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
