Samuel Aaron Storey, Jr.

Samuel Aaron Storey Jr, 70, was born on May 29, 1954, in LaGrange, Georgia, to the late Samuel Aaron Storey Sr. and Cleo M. Cobb.

He was a beloved brother to Charlotte Prophet and Brenda Prophet. Samuel attended LaGrange High School and later answered the call to serve his country by enlisting in the United States Navy. He proudly served and retired as a Disabled Veteran, having dedicated years of honorable service to our nation.

On Tuesday, April 15, 2025, Samuel peacefully departed this life, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and service.

He is survived by a devoted and loving family: his brother, Reuben Prophet; his sister, Maryjean Storey; and his two sons, Samuel Aaron Storey III (Patricia Storey) and William Paul Storey. His memory lives on in his grandchildren: Tauheedah M. Numan, Tyler Aaron Storey, Tre' Alexander Storey, and India Aaliyah Storey. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Styles Aaron Storey, Ava Maaliayh Storey, and Naziyah Amora Storey.

Samuel will be deeply missed by a host of other loving relatives, dear friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His life was a testament to resilience, duty, and love. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
