Samantha Mae (Wade) Vickers

Samantha (Sam) Mae Vickers , 56 of Cairo, GA passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
The graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Concord Cemetery in Havana with Pastor Eric Mitchell of First Free Will Baptist Church of Cairo, Georgia officiating. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, June 24, 2022 at Faith Funeral Home Chapel in Havana.
Sam was born on March 19, 1966 in Cairo, GA to the late Earnest Wade and the late Mable Woodell Wade. She has been employed with Tallahassee Memorial Hospital for 35 years. She was the  IT Application Programming Mgr. She was an active member of Cairo First Freewill Baptist Church. She served as Activities Director, one of three church Song Leaders and Sunday School Treasure.
She is survived by her husband James P. Vickers of Cairo, GA; two sons James P. Vickers (and his wife Athena)  of Hosford, FL; and Kyle W. Vickers of Calvary, GA; one brother Lonnie Wade (and his wife Kim) of Whigham, GA; two very precious grandchildren Ellie Vickers and Pierce Vickers.
