Ronald "Ronnie" Runnels, 54 of Havana passed away November 15, 2017, at home and surrounded by family.
Ronnie was born July 19, 1963 in Atlanta, Georgia. At the age of 12, his family relocated to Tallahassee where he graduated from Leon High School in 1981. His love of cars would lead him to a career as an ASE certified auto mechanic for more than 35 years.
Ronnie loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. He spent many hours on the water patiently waiting for his next big catch. He was a kind man with a big heart and was never without a joke or prank to make you laugh.
He is preceded in death by his father, Larry J. Runnels and daughter Marie Runnels. He is survived by his mother, Patricia Runnels, sister, Laura Pridgeon, nephew, Andrew Baxley (wife Mandy), daughter Renee’ Dawkins, cousin, Christa Flint (husband Sean) and Brandon Flint. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles.
