Ronald Jerome Goble

Ronald Jerome Goble, 77, passed away November 23, 2021 at his home in Havana Florida in the care of his family. Ron was born November 11, 1944 in Park Rapids, MN to James and Lela (Clark) Goble. He graduated from Dilworth High School in 1962 and enlisted in the United States Army. He was a medic in Germany when he was called home to help his mother and younger brothers and sisters upon the death of his father.
He married Jean Helen Janke at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Moorhead on August 20th, 1966. Ron owned and operated the Standard Oil Station in Dilworth for several years before going to work for Moorhead Plastics building Silverline boats. He transferred to Fort Walton Beach Florida as Plant Manager when Silverline began operations there and spent the rest of his career building boats in the southeast retiring as Vice President of Manufacturing for Seminole Marine Group.
Ron is survived by his son Steven Goble, Havana FL, daughters Amy Goble, Los Angeles CA, and Lee Atta Horner, Linton ND, siblings Patricia Knapper, Dilworth MN, Rolland (Betty) Goble, Park Rapids MN, Rick (Marlene) Goble, Goodyear AZ, David (Lori) Goble, Eden Prairie MN, Debra Erickson, Eugene OR and Barbara Goble, Eugene OR.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 50 years Jean (April 2017) and brother-in-law Marvin Knapper Sr.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022 from 1-4 pm at The Dilworth Community Center in Dilworth,Minnesota.
