Roger Zerom Maxwell, 61, of Tallahassee, Florida went home to be with the Lord on September 14th, 2021 with his wife and daughter by his side.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 20 at 10am at Faith Funeral Home in Havana, Florida. The funeral will follow immediately after at 11am in the chapel. Interment will be at Woodland Cemetery, also in Havana.
Roger was born September 19,1959 to the late Zerom Monroe Maxwell and Jinnie Lew Batts in Quincy, Florida. He was preceded in death by both parents as well as his younger brother Rodney Maxwell.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Rhonda Maxwell and only child Amber Maxwell
(Misty Mullinax) and his Granddaughter Briana Wold-Dyer, sister Robbie Bishop (Benny)and brother Ronnie Maxwell. He is also survived by life long friend and father figure, Joe Manchac Jr. And last but not least, his beloved dog Taylor, who misses his Daddy so so much.
Roger was a car salesman at Bill Wells Chevrolet in Quincy from the age of 16 to 42. He retires early to pursue his real estate rental business full time. That business will continue to run strong, just as he would want it.
Roger was loved by each and every person who knew him. He had a heart as big as the sky and would help any and everyone he could. He never met a stranger. He loved being outside, gardening, mowing grass and tooling around on his golf cart. He enjoyed hopping on his mower going around keeping his rentals looking nice and neat. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him. He touched so many lives.
