Havana-
Ralph Warren Williams passed peacefully at his home to the arms of the Lord on Thursday, April 29, 2010. Mr Williams, age 66, has been a resident of Havana, Florida for 19 years. Originally from boston, Georgia. Mr. Williams had lived in Tallahassee prior to moving to Havana.
Mr. Williams graduated from Valdosta State College and served in the United States Army from 1969-1972. Although currently retired, he worked with his father for many years at the recycling facility in Tallahassee. He had also been a manager for Goodwill Industries as well as working at Tallahassee Communications and Ring Power Corp.
Preceded in death by his Father, Norphlet Ralph Williams and his mother, Mary Jones Williams, he is survived by his wife, Linda Williams, sister Vonnie Lavender ( and Hawk) of Burke, Virginia, son, Jason Williams of Melbourne, Florida and four step children, Gary Brose ( and Nicole) of Palm Coast, Florida, Terry Brose (and Lorene) of Waynesboro, Georgia, Tracy Mayer ( and Troy) of Ocala, Florida and Tia Dodson ( and Ike), also Ocala, Florida as well as seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A memorial service and celebration of his life will be held Sunday, May 16, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Salem United Methodist Church in Havana, Florida where he had been a member for several years. The family has requested that donations be made to Big Bend Hospice 1723 Mahan Center Blvd. Tallahassee, Fl. 32308
