Pattie Elise Thebaud Martin Armesto 69 of Havana died peacefully in the presence of her husband, Mark, at Big Bend Hospice in Tallahassee, Thursday, September 20, 2007. In honor and respect of her wishes a private commemoration is being held for family only. May her soul enjoy peace and rest

Pattie was born March 8, 1938 in Buffalo, New York. She was an active member of Buffalo's Saddle & Bridle Club. She graduated in 1956 from Miss Hall's Academy in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. She worked as a Senior Field Support Specialist for IBM in Buffalo, NY and Boston, MA. On September 5, 1964, she married Buffalo native Mark James Armesto, a Harvard graduate and executive with Sheraton Hotels. The couple traveled widely with residences in Rochester, NY, Framingham and Boston, MA and settled in Havana, FL in 1977. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Quincy and the Moose Lodge of Tallahassee.
Pattie had a great passion for life and her family; especially her three grandchildren Timothy, Mark and Christopher. She was a talented cook, and her brownies were legendary. She is survived in life by her brother Alexander Martin, her husband Mark James Armesto, Sr., daughters Laura Lenahan Bridge and Diana Burke Armesto, and her son Mark James Armesto, Jr.
