Opal Touchton, 91 of Havana, FL passed away Saturday, July 2, 2016 in Quincy.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Faith Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Eric Erskine officiating the service. Interment will be private at Woodland Cemetery in Havana.
Mrs. Touchton was born in Red Level, AL on November 29, 1924 to the late Lee Dean Hitson and the late Minnie Alma Chesser Hitson. She was married 74 years to the late T.W. Touchton, They settled in Havana and raise her family. Mrs. Touchton loved playing Bridge with her Bridge Club on Wednesdays. She also loved growing roses. Most of all she loved her family.
Her survivors include her son David Touchton (and Susan) of Havana; her grandchildren Brad Touchton (Gaye); Duke Touchton (Grayson); Evie Peacock (Jessie); her brother Bill Ray Hitson (Martha) and her sister Joy Lenamon (J.B.) Six grandchildren Hannah Touchton; Amanda, Blake, and Davie Touchton; Luke and Jase Peacock.
She is proceeded in death by her husband T.W. her son Steve and her sister Juanita Johnson.
