Olan Wheat Sadler 92, died Sunday, July 23, 2006, at his home in Havana, The funeral service will be at 10 a. m. (EDT) at Concorida Baptist Church with the burial at Woodland Cemetery, with Pastor Gordon Adank officiating. The Family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Faith Funeral Home in Havana (850-539-4300 or www.faithfuneralhome.com). Mr. Sadler was born May 29, 1914 in Grady County, Georgia. He left there in 1945 and moved to Texas City, TX. Where he retired as an Electrical Superintendent after more than 40 years with the Monsanto Chemical Company. He was an member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers with 65 years of service. Mr. Sadler and his wife moved to Havana in 1984 to be close to their families. Mr. Sadler was a member of the Concorida Baptist Church were he was active with the Men's Brotherhood.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Janie Hinson Sadler of Havana. Two sisters; Opal Lee of Calvary, GA. and Mallie Dalton of Lake Worth, Florida. and Many, many Nieces and Nephews.
