Nettie F. Loy

Nettie Mast Loy, age 49, a beloved soul of Havana, Florida, sadly lost her battle with cancer on June 13, 2024 after a life richly lived in service and kindness. Known for her lovingkindness to all her coworkers at Walmart, her church family, and all her family and friends. Nettie served the children and youth in her church and was a beacon of light and hope to everyone she came in contact with, touching lives through her sweet spirit and grace. A lover of travel, enjoying God’s beautiful creation, along with traveling to visit family and friends.

Preceded in death by her mother Effie Miller Mast of Live Oak, Florida. Loved and missed by husband Larry Eugene Loy, son Caleb Eugene Loy, daughter Rachel Marie Loy, goddaughter Alysia Renee Monroe; father Freeman Mast of Live Oak, Florida; brothers David Mast, Robert Mast, and Stephan Mast all of Tallahassee, Florida; and sister Lucinda Ann Heburn of Live Oak, Florida.

We invite all who cherished Nettie to join us in a Celebration of Life at Salem United Methodist Church in Havana, Florida on June 30, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. where we will share music, stories, laughter, and tears, just as Nettie would have wished.
