Nellie Jowers Ausburn, 89 a homemaker, died Saturday, September 17, 2005 at her home in Havana. A graveside funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 20, 2005 at Salem Cemetery in Havana. Family will receive friends Monday from 6 til 8:00 P. M. at Faith Funeral Home in Havana (850) 539-4300. She is survived by her husband, I. V. "Bo' Ausburn of Havana. Other survivors include; seven daughters, Troy Jowers Ware (and husband Clyde) of Port St. Joe, Geri Jowers Coggins of Lake Talquin, Nell Jowers Murphy (and husband Fuzy) of Burnsville N.C. Doris Jowers Melton of Albany, GA. Connie Jowers Baldwin of Bartow, Roberta Ausburn Powell (and husband Stanley) of Niceville, and Malone Ausburn Moss (and husband Jack) of Waynesboro, VA. A sister Delcia Faircloth Shiver of East Point, FL. Her adopted daughter Dixie Edwards; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Melvin J. Jowers.
