Biography
Michelle Reeves Murkerson 55, of Tallahassee, FL. passed away October 7, 2014 at Big Bend Hospice House, following a lengthy illness.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Bible Believers Fellowship, with Pastor Dennis Young officiating. The interment will follow at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Tallahassee. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Michelle was born August 27, 1959 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, the daughter of the late Rudy Reeves and Jean Shealey Reeves. Michelle retired from the Clerk of Court in Leon County in 2002 after 26 years of service.
She is survived by her loving mother Jean S. Reeves of Tallahassee; a devoted brother and sister-n-law Ted Reeves (wife Vickie) of Tallahassee; her loving sister and special care-giver, Rhonda Reeves of Tallahassee; and a sister Diane Cronin of Jacksonville;. a niece Jenna Roberts (husband Jamie) of Tallahassee; many loving cousins, and dear friends.
She is preceded in death by her incredible Dad, Rudy Reeves in February 2014 and her son Zane Murkerson who died May 2008.
