Mary Ann Wright

February 18, 1947 — May 3, 2018

Havana, Florida

Mary Ann Wright, wife of Charles Wright, has moved from her home in Havana, Florida into her home that Jesus Christ has prepared just for her. (“I go to prepare a place for you that where I am, there you may be also. In My Father’s house are many mansions.” John 14)

Mary Ann was born February 18, 1947, and she was born again on September 25, 1972 at 2 AM. On that day the Holy Spirit moved on Mary’s heart convicting her of her many sins and her desperate need of a Savior. She asked God to forgive her and by faith given her by Lord, she recognized that Jesus Christ – the sinless God/Man – suffered and died in her place. (“For by grace are you saved by faith and that not of yourself, it is a gift from God, not of works lest any man should boast”. Ephesian 2:8) In that moment, by the grace of God, Mary Ann was forgiven and given an indescribable new life – an eternal life that has now taken her into the very presence of the Lord of Lord and King of Kings!

Charles and Mary Ann have two beloved children – a son, Ned Wright and his wife Christina (Dunedin, Fl) and a daughter, Sharyn Kerwin and her husband Lance (Tallahassee, FL) both of whom are born again and are passing on the truth of Gospel to their children (Charles and Mary Ann’s Grandchildren), Taylor Buzzard, Emma Kerwin, Grace Kerwin and Lucy Kerwin, Darby Wright, and Tori Wright. She also leaves behind a precious stepchild, Kevin Judyski and step grandchildren, Tyler and Kerry Judyski and Bailey Arvantis.

The greatest joys during Mary Ann’s life were being loved by her husband as Christ loved the church and every moment that she was in the presence of her grandchildren. She was blessed, and her life enriched with true and faithful friends.

The overarching passion of her life was the opportunities given her by the Holy Spirit to share the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others! The prayer of her life was that each member of her family and all her friends would be saved (“You must be born again.” John 3:7).

The celebration of God’s immeasurable blessing in Mary Ann’s life will be held at Northwoods Baptist Church at 11am, Saturday, May 12, 2018.
