Mary Kathryn Kelley Parmer 93 of Havana passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus, Tuesday, March 9, 2010 in Tallahassee. Her funeral service will be at 11:00am, Friday March 12 at Salem United Methodist Church in Havana, FL. A graveside funeral service and internment will be Monday, March 15, 2010 at 2:00pm at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park in Clearwater, FL. Mrs. Parmer was born November 1, 1916, married to Earl Parmer, Sr. (deceased) she was originally from Wetumpka, AL, also lived in Clearwater, FL, and most recently of Havana, Fl, She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Havana, FL. Mrs. Parmer graduated from Wetumpka High School, Wetumpka, AL, and was employed as the payroll clerk for Alabama Mills in Wetumpka Al for many years before retiring to Clearwater, Fl. She was always active in her church and served as the prayer coordinator for the Church of God in Tallahassee. She was fondly known as "Bubba" to her family and friends. She was a bright light and source of joy and laughter to all who knew her.
She is survived by her two sons Earl (Bud) Parmer, Jr. John (Bo) Parmer, and preceded in death by her daughter Dianne Smith . Ten grandchildren Kelley Thomason, Carolyn Salanitri, Elizabeth Dorsey, John Parmer, Jr. Angela Sattes, Chad Parmer, Scott Collins, Jodi Labban, Charles Hodges, Jr., Patrick Hodges. And 21 Great-grandchildren H. (Beau) Thomason, Holly Thomason, Stephen Salanitri, Michael Salanitri, Spencer Endsley, Logan Dorsey, Sara Parmer, Stedman Sattes, Kellum Sattes, Chelsea Parmer, Destin Parmer, Justin Collins, Alyssa Collins, Riley Collins, Austin Labban, Sydney Labban, Shelby Hodges, Sam Hodges, Tyler Hodges, Wyatt Hodges.
