Mary Elizabeth Johnson

Elizabeth "Betty" Johnson 88, of Havana, FL, passed away on Thursday January 18, 2024, at Riverchase Nursing Home in Quincy, FL.

Mrs. Johnson was born April 5, 1935, in Concord, FL. She is the daughter of the late Lonnie and Janie “Bessie” Poppell. She loved her family dearly and they were the most important part of her life. Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker, In Home Childcare worker, and Avon Lady. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Havana.  

 She is survived by her Daughter Shirley Barber (Timmy), Daughter Connie Hand, Daughter in Law Sandra Johnson Grandchildren: Elizabeth Bell (Rodney), Matthew Barber (Alicia), Daniel Barber (Jennifer), Steven Barber (Kristina), and Abbie Hall (TJ); Great Grandchildren: Chris, Wade, Jason, Emma, Will, a host of nieces and nephews, and extended family Darlene Rockwood. 

 She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband Kenneth Johnson, son Ray Johnson, 3 brothers and 1 sister.
