Marion Piper Spear, 90, of Havana, FL passed away on Friday, November 17, 2017.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Salem United Methodist Church in Havana, with Pastor Curtiss Cain officiating. A private interment will held at Woodland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Salem United Methodist Church P.O. Mrs. Spear was born on October 28, 1927 in Fairfax, AL. To the late Ridley Piper and the late Ollie Gardner Piper. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, she was a secretary for Gadsden County School Board and Havana High School, but her greatest role was being a wife and mother.
She is survived by her son William Pete Spear (wife Theresa); a daughter Patti Spear all of Tallahassee. Three grandchildren Rick Spear, Dan Spear and Jessica Spear. Several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband W.C Pete Spear, a brother Frank Piper and a sister Maybath Myers.
