Marion Eugene Moulton "Gene"81 passed away peacefully March 12, 2010 at his home
surrounded by loved ones. His funeral service will be 2:00pm Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Faith Funeral Home Chapel in Havana. Interment will be at 2:00pm Thursday, March 18, 2010 at West Church Cemetery in Weston, GA. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Memorial Contribution may be made to Big Bend Hospice 1723 Mahan Center Blvd Tallahassee, FL. 32308
Gene was a proud US Army veteran, who served his country in the 24th Infantry during the Korean War. His battalion, transported by a Japanese freighter, was the first to enter the war on July 4, 1950.
He was a man of compassion, keen wit and a great sense of humor who loved country music, especially 93.3 WGWD with Calico and Jack and dancing at the Senior Center.
Gene is survived by his beloved daughter Angela Edele and son-in-law Scott of Severance, New York; one son, Andrew Moulton of Tallahassee, FL. his sister Wanda Derose of La Mirada, California and a brother Charles Miller of Camas, Washington, grandchildren Donna and Mickey Edele and his great grandchildren Thomas, Desiree and Mark; many nieces and nephews and cousins including Sue Hodges, his care giver during his long illness, his friend Angie Velocci and his beloved dog of many years Lucky.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, his sister Charlotte Sillik and brother Charles Moulton.
