Lois Wynelle Johnson 88 of Havana died Saturday, April 15, 2006 in Tallahassee. The Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am (EST) Tuesday April 18, 2006 at Concordia Baptist Church in Concord. With the burial at Vicker's Cemetery in Concord. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 til 8 pm. Lois Elkins Johnson was born September 22, 1917 in Calvary, GA. She graduated from Havana High School. She married Elmo Johnson on January 1, 1939. She was a homemaker and mother for many years. She also worked with the Florida Department of Revenue for 12 years, receiving awards and recognitions for her excellent work. She was a dedicated member and worker at Concordia Baptist Church. She taught Sunday School, Bible School, Training Union and served as church Secretary for many years.
She is survived by a daughter, Sonja Bumper ( and husband Bennie) of Birmingham, AL. Two sons Joe Johnson of Tallahassee, and Mike Johnson (wife Rose Marie) of Havana.
Three grandsons Doug Bumpers of Birmingham, Shawn Bumpers (wife Christy) of Kernersville, NC. and Chad Johnson of Tallahassee, Two granddaughters, Kim Johnson of Davis WV. and Kelli Johnson of Havana. She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Willie Mae Johnson of Chattahoochee, and Margie Johnson of Tallahassee. One brother-in-law Willie Gray of Havana.
She is preceded in death by her husband Elmo Johnson, her sister Robbie Gray, and Gladys Harrison; her brother Thomas Elkins and a daughter-in-law Margaret Johnson.
Everyone who knew Lois will miss her loving spirit.
