Lillian Adele Vann

December 6, 1928 — September 30, 2018

Lillian Adele (Cartledge) Vann, born in Augusta GA 12/­06/1928 fell asleep in death 09/30/2­018. A longtime belo­ved resident of Tallahassee, Lillian was well known in the community for her strong faith and avid study of the Bible. She loved being outdoors gardening, reading, and taking naps on her swing. Her southern cooking was renowned -classic pound cake in particular! She was pre­ceded in death by her husband Andrew M. Vann. She is survived by her sister, Dor­is Siegler. She is also survived by her three children, Gary (Gayle) Vann , Eric (Angie) Vann, Denise (Phillip) Marquis . Lillian’s nine gra­ndchildren are Damon, Julie, Wendy, Sara, Derek, Jason, Ryan, Megan, Andrew. Her great-grandchildren are Jacob, Abigail, Hannah, Emilie, Ev­a, Cameron, Bailey, Marley, Dacia, Aidan, Avery, Ethan, Sydn­ey.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jeho­vah’s Witnesses, 2641 Old Bainbridge Road Saturday October 27th at 4pm. The fami­ly wishes to thank both the many loving friends in the Lake Jackson Con­gregation and the de­dicated staff of Big Bend Hospice for Mo­m’s care during her long illness. In lieu of flowers, donati­ons are welcome to the world wide work of Jehovah’s Witnesses (www.jw.org) or  to Big Bend Hospice (www.bigbendhospice.o­rg)
