Laurie Lynn Kemp, age 53, a resident of Hampshire, TN (formerly of Havana, FL., passed away May 1, 2017 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 8th at 4 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Eternity in Maury Memorial Gardens, located adjacent to the funeral home. The family will visit with friends from 2 PM until the 4 PM service at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Laurie was born in Marietta, Georgia on April 27, 1964 and was the daughter of George Kemp and Jill M. Brubaker. She was a high school graduate and worked for the Florida Department of Revenue Sales Tax Division. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved all kinds of animals, especially cats and horses. Laurie had a special love for all people.
Along with her parents, she is survived by her fiancé of 16 years, Bradley Clark of Columbia; sisters: Liane Schuessler; aunts and uncles: Robert Kemp, Gary Kemp, Jan Burbaker, Jean Sue Burbaker, Jerry (Centhia) Burbaker; step-uncle: Jan (Judy) Rogers; nieces and nephews: Jason Schuessler, Jessica Schuessler, Emma King, Jay King, Lily Smith, Hunter Clark, Harley Clark, and Waylon Clark.
