Larrie Maurice Jemison

Larrie Maurice Jemison, age 61 of Havana, FL unexpectedly passed away on June 17, 2024. Larrie was born to Dixie and Larrie L. Jemison on July 3, 1962, in Bad Kissingen, Germany.

Proud to be the son of a military father, after high school, he joined the United States Army. Later, he met the love of his life, Lisa, and they married on May 12, 1984 in Oskaloosa, Iowa. The couple welcomed their son, Lucus, in July of 1986 and their daughter, Lindsey, in June 1989, and together, they embraced over 40 years of love and laughter.

The family made their home in Havana, FL, and with Lisa by his side, Larrie achieved his career goals as a business owner, entrepreneur, and salesperson. However, his proudest achievements were being a devoted husband, an amazing father, and a doting "Papa."

He will forever be remembered by his family, and a multitude of others, for his wisdom, wit, sense of humor, and his endless commitment to help others. Larrie is survived by his wife, Lisa, his son Lucus (Melissa) Jemison, daughter Lindsey (Daniel) McCall and grandson Lane; brothers Gary (Patricia) Gibbons, DeWayne (Tammy) Jemison, sister Loretta McCloud, sister-in-law Kimberley (Randy) Walford, brother-in-law Gary (Jerron) Kerr, sister-in-law Diana (Wayne) Williams and many nieces and nephews.
