Biography
Katrina L. Whitehead, 66, of Tallahassee went to rest in the arms of Jesus on Monday, April 28, 2014. She was born on January 17, 1948 in Hanover, WV;
She was a member of Bible Believers Fellowship, and retired employee of Dept of Labor & Employment Services (now the Dept of Economic Opportunity)
Mrs. Whitehead was preceded in death by her husband Huey Whitehead and her father Erman Lester.
She is survived by her son Anthony Whitehead (wife Alicia) of Fisherville VA. Her mother Tressie Lester of Tallahassee; three sisters Barbara Allbritton (husband Tommy) of Scott Depot, WV. Julia Mims of Ochlocknee, GA; and Cathy Kuhne of Tallahassee.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Bible Believers Fellowship in Tallahassee with Pastor Dennis Young officiating,
Interment will follow at Tallahassee Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2014 at Faith Funeral Home in Havana (850-539-4300 or www.faithfuneralhome.com)
Flowers are welcome, However; donations to the American Lung Association would also be appreciated.
