John “Jack” F. Vanstone went to his heavenly home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 2, 2021. Jack
touched many lives throughout his educational career and his ministry. His ability to connect with others
came naturally. His influence educated people, built families, led people towards salvation, and truly
embodied the mission of Jesus Christ. He knew no strangers. Everyone became family, friends, or
neighbors. Jack was a prayer warrior for all and he loved the Lord. His many students and members of
his congregation became part of his family. There is no greater witness than his unconditional love and
acceptance of everyone.
Jack was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and was looking forward to be a great
grandfather (September 26). He never turned down an opportunity to humbly boast about his family.
His loving wife always at the center.
Jack is survived by his loving wife; Doris (Camelia Gardens Nursing Home), daughter; Carrie, son; Daaron
Vanstone (Catherine), grandchildren Garrett Crozier (Leslie), Haleigh Crozier (Branden), Henry Vanstone,
and great grandson Aiden Scott (9.28), as well as a host of nieces and nephews that were all like his own.
He is preceded in death by his parents; John Henry Vanstone and Doris Maude Vanstone, siblings; Connie
Stewart, Andy Vanstone, cousins; Carol Pinson and John Lister and his oldest son; John F Vanstone, Jr.
