Jimmy N. DuPree, 72, lost his battle with Cancer on July 30, 2016, at TMH Hospital surrounded by his devoted family.
Jimmy was born in Tallahassee, FL. on May 30, 1944 to Curtis DuPree, Sr. and Mary May DuPree.
He graduated from Leon High School and resided in Tallahassee most of his life. He was retired from the Parks and Recreation Department with the City of Tallahassee, prior to that he was the wner/operator of Bike Country. Jimmy loved working with his hands and was a master carpenter and artist.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his wife, Kay , the love of his life; his parents and his brother, Curtis DuPree, Jr.
Jimmy leaves behind two daughters, Kimberly DuPree Hineman (Michael) , Michell Marks; three grandchildren – Noelle Lamb, Hannah Hineman and Spencer Hineman; great grandchildren Mason and Autumn Lamb; brothers – William DuPree (Wynell) and Wayne DuPree; sister-in-laws Jan Roche and Fay Doolittle; several nieces and nephews and many life long friends.
No service will be held per his request, but the family will host a Celebration of Life in the near future for family and friends.
