Jesse Davis, Jr

Jesse Wilmer Davis, Jr. 83, of Havana, FL passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at his residence.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Concord Victory Assembly of God Church with Rev. Lannis Stephens officiating the service. Mr. Davis was born August 9, 1932 in Linden, FL the son of the late Jesse W. Davis, Sr and the late Nora Taylor Davis. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, and was a Master Electrician. He served as a Deacon at Quincy First Assembly of God for many years, and later served as a deacon at Concord Victory Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include his wife Dorothy Davis of Havana, FL, his three sons James W. Davis of Gainesville, FL; Donald E. Davis (wife Mechele) Camden, NC; and Glen W. Davis (wife Nita) of Sparr, FL; a daughter Sharlene M. Dean of Texas. Two sisters Helen M. Davis of Gainesville, FL and Shirley A. Duggan of Dade City, FL. Six grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
