Janice Faye (Fowler) Farris

Janice Faye Farris, 85 of Havana, Florida, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023 at her residence.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 3, 2023 at Faith Funeral Home Chapel. The interment will follow at the VFW Cemetery in Tallahassee, with Pastor Marvin Snipes officiating the service. Active pallbearers include Brian Baxley, Boyd McAdams, James McAdams, David Lewis, James Butler, and Scott Monroe.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 2, 2023 from 6 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Faith Funeral Home Chapel 6972 Florida/Georgia Hwy. Havana, FL 32333.

Janice was born on July 1, 1938 in Blountstown, FL.The daughter of the late Clarence Fowler and the late Beatrice Cook Fowler. She was married to the love of her life Clarence Theodore Farris  (C.T. Farris) for 56 years. She was a member of Reno Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, she loved to cook for her family. (and she was very good at it too.) She loved watching game shows. Fishing in the pond and shelling pecans.

Janice is survived by her two sons, Joey Farris (Becky Dawkins) and Steve Ray Farris, all of Havana; one daughter, Liz Farris of Pelham, GA; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Clarence Theodore Farris (C.T. Farris) in June 2013, and her sister Jeanie Walruff.
