Biography

James C. Williams, 80 of Concord FL, passed away Monday, August 6, 2012 at Heritage Healthcare in Tallahassee.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Faith Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gordon Adank officiating. Internment will follow the service at Concord Cemetery. Mr. Williams' sons and grandsons will serve as active pallbearers. Mr. Williams was born February 3, 1932 in McRae, GA. He was a member of Concordia Baptist Church. Mr. Williams was a HVAC Mechanical Contractor who owned his own company for more than 35 years in the Tallahassee and Havana area. He was a true craftsman always wanting a job done right. He was dedicated and always available 24 hours a day to his many loyal customers. He was known as a survivor. He had many health problems over the years, but always seemed to overcome his health issues . He leaves behind a huge legacy of honesty and integrity to his children. His work ethics will continue on today with two of sons following in his footsteps: Charlie with C.L. Williams Contracting, Inc. and Jeff with Jeff Williams Heating & Cooling, Inc.

Survivors include James C. Williams, Jr.(Lee) Of Jacksonville, NC; Charlie Williams (Vicki) of Tallahassee; Ronald Thomas (Diane) Calvary, GA; James Thomas of Calvary, GA; Jeff Williams (Brenda) of Concord, FL; Pamela Rehberg of Jacksonville, FL; and Deborah Stephens of Dothan, AL. Fourteen grandchildren including a special granddaughter, Brittany Williams of Tallahassee and eleven great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Neal Williams, a daughter Teresa Williams and a grandson Josh Thomas.
