James Omer Goodwin of Havana, FL. passed away Friday, September 16, 2011 at Capital Regional Medical Center in Tallahassee

Mr. Goodwin was born January 4, 1937 in Panama City, FL. The son of Omer and Merle Skipper Goodwin. He was a member of Florida national Guard for many years. He was the owner of Goodwin Roofing in Tallahassee since 1983
He is survived by his wife of 56 years Barbara Goodwin of Havana, a son John Goodwin of Havana; a daughter Lee Ann McCray (and husband David) of Raleigh, NC; Two brothers Fred and Wayne Goodwin both of Panama City, FL ; and two sisters Doris Durden and Charlette Joyner both of Panama City, FL
He is preceded in death by his sister Shirley Smith and a son Michael Goodwin
