James Arthur Anderson

James Arthur Anderson 95, of Havana, Florida, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023 at his home surrounded by loving family.
James Arthur Anderson was born March 1, 1927 in Lumber City, Georgia to the late James Clayton Anderson and wife Laura Maranda Browning Anderson.  He is preceded in death by his wife of 75 years, Mary Alice Haddan Anderson.
James joined the Navy when he turned 18 years old and and served during WWII at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii.  He was a member of Fernwood Baptist Church in Tallahassee for 51 years and enjoyed camping, estate sales, spending time with his wife, family and friends and simple country living.

He is survived by his children: Alice Faye Rimes (husband Pete) Glenda Sue Jenks, James Arnold Anderson (wife Pam), 9 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 15 great, great grandchildren
and 3 more on the way.

The family will receive friends at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 with the Funeral Service immediately following at 11:00 am at Faith Funeral Home in Havana with burial in Hilcrest cemetery in Quincy, Florida.
