Idonna Pearson, 97 of Tallahassee, FL. passed away Saturday, May 10, 2014 in Tallahassee.
The graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Oakland Cemetery in Tallahassee, with Pastor Dean Inserra officiating the service. Faith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements (850.539.4300 or www.faithfuneralhome.com)
Mrs. Pearson was born December 14, 1916 in Leon county, the daughter of the late Henry Samuel Rudd, and the late Minnie Jane McDonald Rudd. She was a homemaker and had devoted her life to her husband (Buddy) and her two sons (Jack and Jerry). She was preceded in death by her husband Jasper (Buddy) Pearson in November of 1983.
She is survived by her two sons Jack Pearson (wife Diane) and Jerry Pearson (wife Marcia) all of Tallahassee, FL. Five grandchildren;13 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special "Thank You" to all the staff of Consulate Health Care in Tallahassee, for all the special care, and going beyond the call of duty for their mother and grandmother. Memorial contributions may be may to your favorite charity, in honor of Mrs. Pearson.
