Hazel Laverne Prior

Hazel Laverne Prior, 65, of Tallahassee, Florida passed away Wednesday,  February 23, 2022 in Tallahassee, Fl.
A family visitation will be held Tuesday, March 1, 2022, 1pm at Faith Funeral Home in Havana, Florida. The Funeral service will begin at 2pm with Pastor Jimmy Brown of Suwannee River Community Church will be officiating the service.
Mrs. Prior was born June 9, 1956 to the late James and Lela Mae Rooks. Mrs. Prior lived in the Tallahassee area her entire life, she enjoyed going to the beach and watching her “programs” but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Mrs. Prior is survived by: two daughters Ivy Lynn Prior and Mary Hilton, a brother Eddie Rooks, two sisters Bernice Miller (Husband Butch) and Audrey Walters, two grandchildren Bryce and Landon.
Mrs. Prior is preceded in death by: her husband David Prior, two brothers Terry Rooks and David Rooks, one sister Gloria Jean Hatcher.
