Gloria Anderson Prather

Gloria A. Prather, born August 19, 1937 in Oakland, California, passed away November 15, 2018 in Quincy, Florida. Her husband Robert, her children Michael (Kathy) and Susan (John), survives Gloria as well as four grandchildren: Andrea, Erik, Justin, and Megan.

Gloria grew up in the San Francisco Bay area, attended Contra Costa County Junior College (now known as Diablo Valley College) where she met Robert. She later attended California College of Arts and Crafts to receive a degree in illustration.  Her education prepared her to become an accomplished painter. Gloria followed Robert’s career traveling to various wildlife refuges and in wildlife law enforcement. Gloria lived with many passions including raising miniature horses. She had a love for all animals big and small.
