Biography

Ginger Lee Spanos, 50 of Quincy, FL. went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at her residence.
The memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Quincy First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends after the service in the church fellowship hall. Faith Funeral Home in Havana is in charge of arrangements (850.539.4300 or www.faithfuneralhome.com )
Ginger was born January 8, 1962 in Orlando, FL. The daughter of Ted and Dottie Elliott. Ginger married Gus Spanos on June 8, 1985. (Gus is the Pastor of Quincy First Baptist Church). She lived in Orlando until they moved to Graceville FL in 1986. As they went on to further their education, Ginger couldn't wait to move back to Florida because it was her home by birth and by choice.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years Gus Spanos of Quincy; her daughters Kristen and Hannah Spanos both of Quincy; Her mother and father Dottie and Ted Elliott of Orlando, a sister, Cheri Hayes (and husband Jack) of Orlando; two brothers, Rick Golab (and wife Kim) and Ron Elliott (and wife Donna) all of Orlando; and many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
