Gary Alan Trikardos, DMD, 67 of Tallahassee, FL. passed away
unexpectedly Saturday,May 11, 2013 at his residence in Tallahassee.
A celebration of his life will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday May 14, 2013 at Killearn United Methodist Church in Tallahassee. Memorials may be made to Killearn United Methodist Church 2800 Shamrock St. S. Tallahassee, FL. 32309 or to your favorite Hospice.
Dr. Trikardos was born August 21, 1945 in Pensacola, FL. The son of Walter J. Trikardos and Dorothy Shelby Trikardos. He was a graduate of Pensacola High School where he played the trumpet in the band. He then attended Marion Military Institute in Marion, AL. He then attended The University of Alabama and University of Alabama Dental School. Dr Trikardos was always an avid "ROLL TIDE" fan. Dr. Trikardos served in the United States Army for two years, stationed in Fort Sill, OK. Dr. Trikardos practiced dentistry for more than 40 years in Tallahassee.
Dr. Trikardos attended Killearn United Methodist Church. He was an avid "GOLFER" who could always been found on the golf course at Killearn Country Club on Wednesday and Friday afternoons. He was also a member of Havana Golf and Country Club where he could be found playing occasionally with his close friends. Not only did he enjoy playing golf, but he and Liz loved to travel and explore new places.
He is survived by wife Elizabeth Trikardos of Tallahassee,FL; two daughters Leah T. Lacayo of Crawfordville, FL and Blair Trikardos of Jacksonville. FL; three grandchildren Harrison, Kaitlyn and Joseph Lacayo all of Crawfordville, FL.
