Foy Joe Whitehead, of Crawfordville, FL, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at YourLife Senior Living in Tallahassee, FL.

Foy Joe Whitehead was born in Dothan, AL, to the late Jesse Hardy Whitehead and Arnettie Thomson Whitehead. Joe retired from the city of Tallahassee after 29 years of service at the power plant. He was a proud member of Ivan Assembly of God Church. Joe enjoyed fishing, gardening and especially his award winning Christmas lights decorations.

He is survived by a son; Ron B. Whitehead (wife Melissa) of Tallahassee, three daughters; Betty Platt (husband Tom) of Crawfordville, Linda Cyr of Tallahassee and Mary Ann Ashley of Tallahassee. Two brothers; William H. Whitehead, Donald R. Whitehead and One sister Lola R. Whitehead. Six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren

Mr. Whitehead is preceded in death by his wife of thirty-eight years Shirley T. Whitehead a son Robert G. Whitehead, one brother; Huey S. Whitehead and one sister Johnnie Myrle.
