Erin Marie Gaynor, age 37, peacefully passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on May 2, 2019 surrounded by the love of her family: Parents Jim and Pat Barnidge, Sister Loren Snoddy, and her brother and his wife Charles and Amanda Gaynor.
A celebration of life with reception to follow will be held Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 3p.m. at St. Luke’s Anglican Church, 3725 Apalachee Parkway, Tallahassee, Florida, 32311. In lieu of flowers, Erin asked donations may be made in honor of her life to St. Luke’s Anglican Capital Campaign or Tinykittens.com, a nonprofit rescue organization for feral cats.
Erin is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Doris Cox and paternal grandmother Mary Alix (Honey) Barnidge. Erin is survived by: Jim and Pat Barnidge (parents); Lois Cox (Great Aunt); Jerry Abner Jr. (brother), Charles and Amanda Gaynor (brother and sister-in-law); Loren and Mike Snoddy (sister and brother-in-law); Aunts and Uncles: John and Linda Cox, Sharron and Don Passal, Jim and Phoebe Cox, Robert Cox, and Mike Cox; her cat Samson; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Erin was born with a rare form of spina bifida, myelomingocele. Despite her disabilities, Erin lived each day to its fullest. She lived a life full of challenges with beauty and grace. Erin’s positive attitude and deep faith enriched the lives of all those who knew her. She was a member of St. Luke’s Anglican Church where she served as a member of the Daughters of the Holy Cross and Flower Guild. Erin also served as a greeter, welcoming members and visitors to the worship service.
