Elnora A. Brown 85, died Saturday Feb. 24, 2007 in Quincy. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. EST Tuesday, at Havana First Baptist Church, with Dr. Eric Erskine officiating. Internment will follow at Vickers Cemetery in Havana. Family will receive friends Monday from 6 til 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Brown was born in Cairo, Georgia October 28, 1921 She and her late husband owned and operated a Jewelry Store in Quincy for many years, before she retired they owned and manufactured Gem - Stone Jewelry. She was a member of Havana First Baptist Church and a member of the Eastern Star for more than fifty years.
Survivors include a daughter Joyce Kimbrell (and husband Scott) of Havana a sister Mattie Rehberg of Cairo six grandchildren; Cindy Kimbrell; Natalie Alday: Melanie Kimbrell all of Havana Mark Baxley of Tallahassee; Stephanie Bragg of Jacksonville; Susie Bostian of Apex, N.C. and 11 Great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Paul D. Brown; a daughter Sherry Baxley; a great-granddaughter Rebecca Ann Starnes Milner
